I absolutely LOVED this novella. When I met Laura in book 1, I was intrigued. I knew there could be more to her than the town mean girl. How on earth could she believe and support Daniel, her husband? Now we know why. It was a joy to see her go back to her own self. Samir is such a swoon-worthy hero. He is protective enough without being overbearing. And the way he falls in love with “the bump” is just so so sweet.
I also loved how beautifully things were mended between Laura and Ruth (from book 1)! The baby naming conversations were hilarious!
You can definitely read this as a standalone, but if you read book 1, you will really understand where Laura is coming from.
