This is the quintessential beach read. A fun, summer romance, with very low angst and delightful. It doesn’t try to be anything rather than what it is.
The heroine is plus sized and I love how she is represented. (Don’t get me all riled up saying that plus-sized heroines tend to be too insecure! Walk a mile in our shoes before you even think of criticizing our insecurities in a Size Zero World! Boils my blood when I read that! * tiny rant over*) And Lucas is so adorable!
The HEA is cute and believable, even though this is instalove at its finest.
