I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you, Juliette Cross for the advanced copy.

Author: Juliette Cross

This is book #2 in the trilogy and it basically picks up where we left off: Genevieve now knows she is a Vessel and not only that, she is THE Vessel, the one from the prophecy, who will be the key in the battle between the Light and the Dark.

While trying to still live her normal  life as a college student, Genevieve is now training under Kat’s tutelage while Jude is busy trying to locate the second half of the scroll containing the prophecy.

A new character is introduced: Thomas, Gen’s guardian angel, who unexpectedly decides to reveal himself to her. Are his intentions noble in doing so, though? Or does he have ulterior motives?

There are a few twists and turns in the last quarter of this book (one of them I was expecting to be revealed since book 1, I confess) and they will be major keys in the development of the story as we head to the grand finale and the war in the last book, Bound in Black. Revealing anything else will spoil the fun.

The story is greatly entertaining and I love how the author incorporates  angels, demons and other other-worldly creatures in our every day life. You won’t put the book down.

If you are a fan of fantasy and paranormal, you will definitely enjoy this trilogy as much as I did!

(Note: This is a re-release, with new cover, updated text and added content)
