That’s when it hits him – Begonia is already there and he’ll introduce her as his girlfriend! Boom! Problem solved! Commence the fake dating! She’s coming from a recent divorce, he has lost faith in love completely, neither wants a relationship, how hard can it be?! But with the help of Fate and Marshmallow, the dog, it seems they might be destined to be together.
I just love Pippa Grant! She creates the most lovable characters. It’s really easy to fall in love with zany Begonia and she makes it impossible not to love grumpy Hayes too. Not to mention all the very fleshed out secondary characters! She brings us this special grumpy/sunshine duo that’s actually weird/weirder and who are just absolutely perfect for each other.
It’s funny, it’s steamy, it’s sweet, it’s swoony! Highly recommend!
Narration: Wonderful narration by Teddy Hamilton and a perfect Begonia voiced by Virginia Rose. (I will deduct one billionth of a star because I am Brazilian and I cringed AF at the pronunciation of two of my favorite local foods: picanha and pão de queijo. That hurt! lol I won’t say who did it! I forgave the faux pas, though. LOL
