Audible audiobook
Author: Harley Stone
Narrators: Addison Barnes and Marcio Catalano
The Dead Presidents MC is dedicated to helping military vets readjust to society. When the club’s sergeant in arms is arrested for the attempted murder of the mayor’s son, Tyler ‘Link’ Lincoln has to find a lawyer brave enough to fight for his innocent friend. That’s when he meets Emily Stafford, a badass defense attorney who’s committed to defending the falsely accused biker. When the two join forces, sparks will fly, especially since Emily has has to seek shelter at the club and they can’t get their hands off each other.
I must confess that I was a little apprehensive going into this one. I am not an MC books fan. Even though this is not an MC involved in criminal activities, it pretty much depicts that MC culture that gets the feminist in me all riled up. I can say, however, that this is not the worst though. The language is there but the fact that Emily is such a badass heroine helps in giving us females a better portrayal than just “club bitches”. Oh well… *rant mode off*.
Link is all sorts of yummy and swoony and it’s a short, steamy and very enjoyable audiobook.
Narration: Addison Barnes is a new narrator for me and I really enjoyed her narration. Erm, now this is where things could get awkward for me… You see, Marcio Catalano is my friend and I was cringing at the thought of listening to my friend saying all these wonderfully filthy things in my ears… LOL Not a bad problem to have, I know… But he’s SO talented and his voice is so amazing that I couldn’t hear anyone but “Link”. Loved it! Bring it on!
