Divorced Men’s Club #3

KU e-book

Author: Saxon James

Ford Thomas is the town’s mechanic “with a past”. He’s a flirt and everyone is a “darlin'” to him. When he walks into the flower shop, he can’t help flirting with the very straight owner. He’s  seen him around and he knows he’s part of the Divorced Men’s Club but he’s a widower. He also knows that Orson Naples looks at him with a different glint in his eyes.

Orson doesn’t know what to do about Ford. He’s a pest, coming to his store all the time with his flirty ways. He’s not uncomfortable but he’s an over-40 man who never questioned his sexuality before…. until Ford.

Oh how I love these books and they keep getting better and better! And more fun!

I loved Ford! I want to be his friend. He’s flirty but respectful and what a softie under all those muscles and tattoos and grease. Orson is a wonderful character too. I specially appreciated that this was not a “I am only gay for you” story. Orson goes through the process of finding out unexpected things about himself and we go with him through his journey.

Their “non-dates” are cute (when not hilarious) and we get the friendly meddling of the Divorced Men’s Club in their funny text convos.

My favorite part (no, not the steam, though it’s VERY good steam) was that they TALK. They were open and honest with each other about their feelings and it was just beautiful! Loved it!
