This novella is set in the Bayside school run by Lauren Halstead-Walsh from the Walsh series, so we get to see her again. Drew is so obviously, deliriously, completely bewitched by Tara that he resorts to playground tactics of metaphorically pulling at her pigtails to keep his sanity, Tara is no pushover and gives it back in equal manner! I wonder if Lauren didn’t send them off on this trip on purpose…
A pining hero, a heroine who’s sunshine and rainbows but who won’t take crap from no one and a blizzard. Perfect recipe for swoony hero times and some good spice!
Note: If you read In A Jam, Shay is also mentioned here as she is a kindergarten teacher at Bayside. I love those little crossovers!
