Peter Hennessy is the shy, quiet computer nerd who’s sort of a superhero among his friends. To him, no secret is safe. He can get to all of yours without breaking a sweat. He has his own secrets and not even his close friends know that he doesn’t exactly work in “cyber security”. To the shy nerdy type, finding Ms Right has been a problem, until his best friend’s girlfriend decides to set him up with with one of her best friends… and the hacker is immediately in love!

Hanna Milliken is coming from a traumatic experience of being catfished and swindled by her latest boyfriend. So, her biggest deal breaker now is secrets and Hen, though absolutely perfect, comes enshrouded in them. Is it possible for them to ever have an HEA?

I need to preface this by saying that I loved all of Lauren Rowe’s books, so I was predisposed to like this one. I just wasn’t expecting to love it so much! If you read her previous books, this one fills any little gaps in the stories that may have been left by telling a little bit of the stories through Hen and Hannah’s perspectives. The genius in all this (and I’m in awe of how she pulled it off so brilliantly without spoiling anything) is that she wrote a completely fresh book about characters we know and love and that can be read as a standalone and hold its own!

I loved theses two from the moment they showed up in Lauren Rowe’s universe and I couldn’t be happier to finally see their romance in full!

Narration: Lily Reynolds is always the perfect choice to narrate LR’s books (IYKYK) and John Lane is a familiar voice to all of us fans.

There is humor, there’s spice – it’s quintessential Lauren Rowe!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
