Paisley Dae left town thinking she was pursuing her dreams and following true love. It all came crashing down and she is back in town with the promise of a job with her true passion: horses. It seems her luck is really down when she backs her beat down truck into a fancy Range Rover when she is late to meet her new boss. The driver is a jerk and her bad luck proves to be even worse when she find out he is none other than her new boss.
But Paisley won’t take his crap and she falls in love with the adorable little girl who is starving for affection and shares her love for horses. Pretty soon, Paisley can see that Caleb is not that detached and grumpy. She also realizes that he has secrets that haunt his very soul. None of that can seem to make her stop feeling all the things… And he seems to be feeling them too.
But his past will come back to haunt him, or so he thinks.
In true AL Jackson fashion, she brings you characters you are immediately drawn to. Caleb and Paisley are fire from the moment they literally crash into into each other and it’s smoking hot. The bond that forms between little Evelyn and Ms. Dae makes them all “our favorite day”.
It’s a beautiful story, with the twists and turns we come to expect from Amy. You know there will be an HEA but you sigh with relief when you finally see this little family together.
