More With You Duet #2

Oh my heart! Ever since I listened to More With You, I had been waiting for Summer to finally find happiness in life. She had found love, but it was taken away too soon.

It’s poignant to walk with her in journey through loss and grief and to see her find her forever with Rowan. I loved how their romance developed, how important it was for Summer to live through her loss to finally be able to open her heart again. It was touching to get to know Rowan through his videos for his therapist, where he completely bares his soul and we get to see him figuring out that Summer is indeed the love of his life.

We go back to the cottage, we see the wonderful Mrs T again and even an evil character comes back from the past. Their tentative steps toward each other make us root for them from the start. All it took was a donkey and its tail…

Erin does put us through the wringer a bit close to the end, but rest assured that you’ll have the warm and fuzzies. Since this is a fictionalized version of Erin’s life, we also get to cheer for the “real” summer and smile knowing that she found her happy place.

Narration: Beautifully narrated by Ava Erickson and Jason Clarke in heartfelt performances. Ava reprises her role as Summer, showing us all her vulnerabilities, insecurities, her grief, but also her grit and and her will to “live” again. Jason is swoony and adorable with the somewhat dorky (the sneakers are cute!) and awkward but nonetheless irresistible Rowan. Perfection!

Possible triggers: grief, mentions of deathly vehicular accidents and hospitalization with life threatening injuries
