Lainey is about to board a plane to attend her brother’s destination wedding in Ireland. Small problem: she’s terrified of flying, so she knocks a few drinks to give her the courage to actually board the metal death trap. Well, she overdid it. She’s sober enough to see that her seat mate is the sexiest man she’s ever laid eyes on. A little rude, as he wasn’t gentlemanly enough to get up so that she could get to her seat.
Xavier is sitting next to the most adorable girl he’s ever met. Well, she drunk as a skunk, but they still managed to hit it off – even when she basically throws up on him! He’s been trying to let her know that he didn’t stand up because, well, he can’t. He was wounded in action and now uses a wheelchair. She leaves the plane on a rush and he can’t just run after her… But destiny had plans for them. He’s going to Ireland to attend his best friend’s wedding – Lainey’s brother.
This was a short, delightful story. I loved seeing a hunky MC that is a little different. He’s absolutely swoony and sexy; he just needs helps to move about.
I loved how things develop between them in Ireland and I would have loved for this to be a full length book. They’re adorable (and steamy) together. Great fun!
