Cottonwood Cove #2

Audible audiobook

Author: Laura Pavlov

Narrators: Andi Arndt and Tor Thom

Maddox has just relocated his publishing house business to the town of Cottonwood Cove. He needs a new assistant and he’s as grumpy and arrogant as they come. So when sunshine personified comes in, he thinks she won’t last a week. But Georgia is made of sterner stuff – she’s dealt with all those brothers all her life and he won’t scare her.

At first, Maddox is utterly annoyed by her “I have never met a stranger” disposition but pretty soon she starts cracking the hard shell he’s put around his heart.

I loved their journey to their HEA, there’s no silly third act break up (yes! hallelujah!) and we get the family group texts that show how lovely her family is.

It’s a joy to spend time in Cottonwood Cove and I can’t wait to get back!

Narration: Georgia is performed by my ultimate queen, Andi Arndt, so it’s perfect, as expected. And can you believe it’s the first time I listened to Tor Thom? I know, right?!

Possible triggers: mentions of a death of a parent after a long debilitating illness
