I’m verklempt. One of my favorite series of all time has come to an end, but it couldn’t have a more perfect ending. Viggo, the hopeless romantic is restless. Everyone around him has found their forever love and it has yet to come to him. And he wants it all – the butterflies, the racing heart, the meet cute… He’s overextended, though, trying to open a romance bookstore, being a plant daddy and an amazing uncle. So, finding the perfect love seems a little out of reach.

Enter Tallulah Clarke, a thriller writer with a massive writer’s block who (GASP!), does not believe in love. They both need help – she needs someone with romance expertise to get her book out of this funk and he needs someone who can help him organize his chaotic life. And they both need roommates. It has an expiration date – two months – but soon Viggo discovers that the butterflies can come in very subtle ways and Tallullah finds out her heart wasn’t locked shut after all.

I finished this one in tears. I’m obsessed with the Bergmans and Viggo is the sweetest and most romantic book boyfriend EVER. And Tallulah is perfect for him! She’s unexpected: grumpy, averse to love. They both click but they don’t know how to deal with those feelings.

Chloe masterfully writes their story. It’s a journey of little things, of small gestures that sum up into an epic love story.

All the Bergamans are there, so expect shenanigans, a Bergman Brothers Summit, lots of love, acceptance and found family. We revisit all of them, meet a few new kids, and go back to the A frame.

Rep: Tallulah has type 1 diabetes and though I don’t have the experience myself I know people who do and it all rings very true. Viggo has ADHD and the rep is spot on. You also learn something about Viggo that may be surprising but then makes complete sense.

I also love how therapy is normalized in this and how absolutely beautiful it is how they care for each other. No third act break up either!

I’m sad that I am saying goodbye but their send-off is PERFECT!

Possible triggers: FMC deals with type 1 diabetes and has a very emotionally damaging relationship with her parents
