Author: Melissa Foster

Sable Montgomery likes her life. She runs her auto-shop, plays with her band at JJ’s and lives close to her family. She’s content. So, when Kane Bad shows up in town to convince her band, Surge, to open for Bad Intentions upcoming tour, she’s reluctant. She’s the only one in the band who feels that way and, understanding it’s a life-changing opportunity for her bandmates, she caves. The last thing she covets is a spotlight like that, but, as its her way, she’ll sacrifice her own wants to help the others.

Kane Bad knew he was going to face some challenges when he took over as manager for his brother’s world famous band, but when family needs you, you step up. Now he sees herself in this small town, with his rental car broken down by the side of the road and having to convince a very reluctant Sable that this is the opportunity of a lifetime. He wasn’t expecting to be immediately drawn to the beautiful, stubborn auto-mechanic turned rocker but he can’t get her out of his head.

Being on the road together not only exacerbates the insane chemistry between them but makes it impossible to resist it. They think it’s a fling… they are wrong.

I had been waiting for Sable’s story for a while and Melissa didn’t disappoint! It’s a billionaire/rocker romance but with the Melissa touch that I love so much. Sable isn’t attracted to fame or fortune. Kane doesn’t know what to do with these feelings he never had before. Both of them have gone through traumatic experiences and their souls are so alike that they can’t avoid gravitating to each other.

I love how the story progresses, with us being privy to how tense and overwhelming fame and life on the road can be.

Sable and Kane are fire AND swoon. Perfect! As always.

Ah, no third act nonsense either. YES!
