Whitlock Family #3

Rowan Whitlock is the quintessential bachelor of Sugarloaf. He’s been seeing his brothers dropping like flies and turning into sappy lovey-dovey puppies. Nope, not for him!

When he goes on a trip to a cabin with his friends, the worst thing that could happen is to share a room with Charlotte, his insufferable neighbor. To make matters worse, she goes hiking by herself, and gets stranded in a storm. It’s just his luck that he is the one to find her, she is hurt with a badly sprained ankle, and he has to rescue her and take shelter in a nearby hunting cabin.

Charlotte is not having the best of luck. Her neighbor (and the man who broke her sister’s heart, making her leave) has been driving her insane. He’s not only hurt her sister but now he apparently can hurt her ability to save her home. And now, really?! She’s stuck in a “murder cabin” with Rowan Whitlock? The worst part? They can’t keep their hands (and other body parts) from each other. What happens in the cabin stays in the cabin. Period! No one mentions it again! Ever! It was a one time thing never to be spoken of again!

Yeah, right…

I love a good enemies to lovers and Corinne delivered! The banter oh the banter! Charlotte gives as good as she gets and Rowan doesn’t know what hit him. I love how the story unfolds, how they recognize the attraction, then realize they always liked each other. You root for Charlotte from page 1 because this girl really needs a break and Rowan might just be everything she ever needed.

The whole family shows up and I can’t have enough of the Whitlocks!

If you love enemies becoming lovers, good banter, brothers giving romantic advice, and nieces who put their uncle in their place, you’ll love this! I did! Thanks to everyone who let me read this early.
