Brace yourselves for one bumpy, hard, emotional ride! I was biting my nails hoping everything turned right for Sam, and in consequence, for her and Chris. Brit Benson writes so well that you are right there with every single character and you go on their journey with them.

 The audiobook is GOLD. Desiree Ketchum becomes Samantha – the feisty Sam, the vulnerable Sam, the playful Sam, the warrior princess Sam. Her partner in this duet narration is Austin Stone (a new narrator to me) and boy did he nail his performance! He goes from swoony Chris to smarmy senator and takes you along for the ride! LOVED IT!
