His best friend in college and the one he basically ghosted after, on the same day, they kissed and then his life took an unexpected turn. They were about to turn their friendship into more when his former girlfriend informs him he’s about to be a father.
Fast forward to ten years later and Millie still feels the hurt of all that happened. After all, Ford just… left her. No explanations. Out of nowhere he’s back with his old girlfriend. Now, he’s back in her life, with a kid and no wife. And he wants her back…
Devney Perry does small town romance like no other and we’re back in Montana. This is pretty low angst and sweet and just what I needed. I love a good second chance romance and when you add a small town, sports and “it’s always been you”, I am sold!
Narration: narrated dual style by Ava Erickson, whose sweet and melodious voice fits Millie to a T and Teddy Hamilton who’s perfect as the swoony single dad who can’t believe his luck that “his Millie”is back in his life. Lovely audiobook!
If you like small college towns, a second chance for people who should have always been together, a little bit of ex drama (clueless ex-boyfriend and bitchy ex- wife), great secondary characters who deserve their own books, pick this one up!
