Saying goodbye to a beloved series is always hard and Amy finished this one with a bang. Hailey and Cody’s romance was the perfect blend of small town goodness (the girl gang, the die-hard friends, the cookie characters) with suspense (and boy this one delivers).

In Hold Me Until Morning, Bailey is back in town with her lovely little girl and her grandmother, leaving back a husband she knows is up to no good. She finds a job as a ranch manager away from her family’s business, and to her surprise, sees that the man overseeing the renovations is none other than Cody, her teenage love that never came to be. The two of them are carrying secrets that they are both ashamed and afraid of. As soon as Cody sees Hailey drenched from the torrential rain, trying to fetch something from the moving truck that’s parked right outside the house next to his, he knows he’s a goner. Again. The past never stays in the past and it raises its ugly head in a suspenseful crescendo that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Will they finally find a way to each other?

Narrated dual style by Erin Mallon and Stephen dexter in a perfect pairing. Erin has just the voice for Hailey and she’s incredible as Lolly, Maddie and all the girls. As it’s dual narration, she does it all over again for the male voices. Stephen has that deep and soothing voice that fits the “cocky cowboy” like a glove.  Amazing audio experience.

A story perfect for those who love small town vibes, found family, adorable little girls, a supportive grandmother and a second chance at a love that was always meant to be. Loved it!

Thanks, AL Jackson and Valentine PR for allowing me to listen to this early.
