We get to the end of the Agitators series with Levi Posey’s story. The bologna sandwich loving hockey player sees himself in hot water when his coach gives him an assignment: hire his daughter as a PA and make her life hell so that he can teach her a lesson. Things get complicated when Posey realizes that Wylie Wood is the girl he has obsessing about for the past year after they almost  had a hookup at a bar. The one rule stipulated is “do not touch my daughter”, and that means hell to Posey, especially after Wylie figures out the ruse and decides that seduction is the key to break him.  Well, Posey also figures out he’s being played… and it’s war. 

I always thought that Posey would be the hardest story to tell because the “bologna loving” bit gets old pretty fast in the series and now we have an overdose of it. The book, however, has all the previous characters in secondary roles and we get to see not only the Frozen Fellas try to help Posey but their ladies too (the proposed names for the Ladies are a hoot). 

I love how everyone recognizes Posey’s important role in their lives and they all step when he needs them, in the same way he always did when they needed him. There are some really tender moments at the end.

Like I said, this could maybe been shorter, or a book in the middle of the series. It feels like the gag is over played, especially after Halsey’s book that was so touching.

Narrated in multi cast with Teddy Hamilton and Emma Wilder as the main characters and Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, Vanessa Edwin, JF Harding, Stella Hurting, Erin Mallon and Kelsey Navarro-Foster reprising their roles and all this talent  helps a lot with a flow of the story. 

It was not my favorite of the Agitators series but it was fun to listen. If you are a fan of screwballrom coms, this is definitely for you.
