Rose Hill #2

“It all started on a backroad…”

When West is driving home he finds a ditzy tourist trying to take a freaking selfie with a grizzly bear. He’s too good a guy to let her become bear food and he rescues her… to her shock, annoyance and dismay. How dare this man interrupt her when she’s filming “relatable content” for her socials?! You see, she’s none other than Skylar Stone, country music star, who’s heading to Ford’s recording studio in Rose Hill.

Skylar has reached her breaking point. She’s been manipulated to being this “country starlet” by her manager dad and the last of his antics was the last drop. She’s done. She wants to be herself, enjoy music again and do her own thing. That’s where Ford, record producer extraordinaire comes in. She soon will find out that he is neighbors with her rescuer and the only place for her to stay is in West’s bunkhouse!

West, and his adorable kids, are not what she had planned for her life, but the life she experiences there at his ranch is the closest thing to the dream she never knew she wanted.

Oh, Fancy Face and Coach Thick Thighs! I love a single dad romance and West is one for the books. I loved his approach to life and how GOOD he was to Skylar. He understood exactly where she was coming from and was everything she could ever hope for. Skylar broke my heart. You feel for how starved she is for a real connection and when these two get together (add in the kids), it’s magical.

Narrated dual style by Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton. Savannah captured Skylar’s personality, making her even more endearing to us. Teddy is THE perfect “golden retriever” and he gives West the exact amount of swoon and wit, making him irresistible.

I also want to say I loved the inclusion of the songs in the audiobook! They are beautiful! What a treat!

I absolutely adore Elsie’s books and she didn’t disappoint. How could she manage to make bowling sexy?! Here’s to more of the single dads!

Thanks, Elsie and @mustloveaudio for the opportunity to listen to this early.
