Thanks, Willow, ValentinePR and Must Love Audio for the Advanced copies.

Henley Ward has dodged the female attention in the small town he lives in with his three lovely daughters. The least probable place to find his soul mate would be the bakery aisle at the grocery store, but that’s where he met Tru. Instant attraction, great banter… He’s interested, oh he is interested. Until he meets her again at the school when he goes to bat for his oldest daughter and royally puts his foot in his mouth.
True has just moved to Silver Falls to be a substitute teacher at the middle school. She also got a side job as a dance instructor in a cute ballet studio. She thought the hunky guy from the market was cute and she didn’t think she’d see him again. Yeah, no chance, as he seems to be everywhere

Soon, they can’t deny the attraction, but she’s his kids’ teacher and dance instructor…

What a warm hug of a book! I love how dedicated Henley is to his girls, how he and his ex have a healthy relationship and how he is an important part of the “Single Dads Club”. The town and its inhabitants are kind of adorable. Tru is sweet and loving, especially when she is around her rescue kitten and Henley’s girls. Her dedication in helping Cassidy with her dyslexia is heartwarming. They are hot together, though, don’t get me wrong!

Narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Sebastian York, who are perfectly cast in this slight age gap romance, this is lovely! They sure deliver!

It’s a low angst book though there is a little bit of tension near the end, but it’s not a third act conflict and they deal with what happens as a team.

I was sad when the book ended! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next single dad in the series!

Rep: MMC’s daughter is dyslexic

Content notes: mentions of cheating (not MCs), living in foster care, verbally abusive parent, school bullying (mild), potentially career ending injury
