Brielle and her sisters have “the Gift” in one way or another. Brielle sees the ghosts of those who passed. She works as a Ghost Tour guide in the French Quarter and she’s used to seeing “shadows”. Then during one of the tours, two things throw her off: a new “shadow” she’s never seen before and a tourist, Cassian Winslow. Apparently, she can’t get rid of either one – the ghost follows her and “Cash” keeps showing up wherever she goes. It’s the Universe showing her that Evil is lurking around the corner and Cash might be just who’s going to help her fight it.

Oh this was fun and perfect for spooky season! The paranormal and witchy vibes mixed with the added very dangerous serial killer terrorizing the French Quarter were a perfect mix. 

I love the sisters and how they bond to protect each other. Brielle and Cash’s romance is a little instalove-y but mostly because it has a “we’ve been lovers through several lifetimes” element to it. 

I was legit scared by the ordeals the characters go through. Great suspense and I never guessed who the culprit was!

Narrated by Samantha Brentmoor, Lee Samuels and Jason Clarke in dual style. Samantha knocks it out of the park with her southern accent and how she makes each sister unique. Lee Samuels is great as the protective and supportive FBI agent who’s suddenly thrown into a world where ghosts and witches do exist. Now, kudos to Mr Clarke, who’s absolutely terrifying as the evil man behind all that is happening. Sir, you scared me silly.
