The quest to get rid of Horace continues and it’s now focused on Millie and Lucien. Millie doesn’t know why she’s so attracted to him but Lucien knows why they belong together – they always have. 

This is definitely a book 2 and I strongly suggest listening to book 1 before getting to this one. 

I loved the past lives element in this! It explains perfectly why they are so in love with each other and so quickly. You also immediately start rooting for the soul mates to finally get to live their love story to the fullest. 

I’m good with mysteries, so I was pretty sure of who was (albeit involuntarily) aiding the evil spirit, though Kristen there some pretty convincing red herrings our way.

It’s fun, creepy in the right amount and swoon worthy Lucien and Millie are couple goals. 

Narrated dual style again by the ever so talented Samantha Brentmoor, with Lee Samuels also as amazing as Lucien. Jason Clarke is back scaring the crap out of everyone with his sinister performance in the few chapters he narrates. A perfect story for spooky season!

If you are a fan of the Nora Roberts witchy books, you’ll love this series!

Now off to Daphne’s story and the conclusion of the fight against the evil that haunts the sisters!
