This is not your regular kind of Heaven – angels wear jeans, hook up with other angels, get married… and maybe even hook up with a beautiful demon, with cascading curls, dark skin and who smells like cinnamon. 

Evil is lurking where you least expect it, and they’ll have to find a way to fight together for the greater good. I won’t tell you much more because half the fun is being as clueless as they are in their “quest”. 

This one was F U N. I love the different take on “Heaven”. Dani and Nicholas are fire together and you get as invested in their romance as you are in the mystery involving the strange incidents happening in The Skies. The secondary characters are amazing, especially Reese (angel and Nicholas’s best friend) and Elise (demon and Dani’s “not friend”) . Such a great story!

The audiobook is a delight. Narrated duet style by Katrina Medina, whose sultry voice is perfect for the sassy demon, and Jacob Morgan, who voices Nicholas and gives incredible nuance to the angel who is learning that not everything is what it seems. They both shine as all the secondary characters too, managing to take you through almost 21 hours of audio flawlessly.
