Boston Revs Three Outs #3
ALC provided by Must Love Audio

Narrators: Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon
The Boston Revs must have a PR curse because they’re at it again. After a mom catches a ball that would definitely knock her kid’s teeth out, Kyle Bosco goes on a tirade on TV, blaming her for them losing the game. Now the whole city is seeing her as public enemy number one and he has to fix it. For that, he ends up “volunteering” at a daycare he arranged for seven-year-old Piper, a baseball fanatic. He also has to deal with her three year old brother and her mom who, justifiably, hates his guts. The plot thickens when Kyle realizes who Harper is and that makes him want to help her even more…if she lets him. She is also off limits now, which makes her even more irresistible.
With every book I read by Jenni, I fall more in love with her writing! I loved every single thing about Harper and Kyle’s story. The children in the book are amazing, and I had a big soft spot for Piper, as I have kids just like her close to me that I love dearly. The representation (ASD) is just spot on in every way – from the child going through life being “different and difficult”, the sibling who is not sure of their place in the family dynamics, to the mom who is a mama bear doing everything she can and being downright exhausted.
The audiobook is FANTASTIC. Stephen Dexter and Erin Mallon in duet, with Stephen amazing as the cocky, larger than life with a heart of gold Kyle and Erin phenomenal as Harper and absolutely spot on as Piper (and all the other female characters, including British Zara). The chemistry between Kyle and Harper shines through their performances. A joy to listen to!
If you are familiar with the Boston Revs already, you will love it even more as they all show up! The texts are particularly hilarious. “Dragon left the chat.” LOL
I couldn’t recommend it more! Not only this book but the whole series. Jenni, another home run!
Thanks, Jenni and @mustloveaudio for the gifted audiobook.
