Thanks, @mustloveaudio for the audiobook!

Sweet baby… Holland! If you have been listening to this series, you’ve been slowly falling in love with Flynn and he gets you completely smitten here.

Flynn and Olivia meet at the balconies of their respective rooms in a NYC hotel. He’s there for a tryout that didn’t go well and she’s there with her sister. He eavesdrops on her conversation with her ex and they strike up a conversation that develops into the most platonic and yet the deepest of the one-night-stands where they bare their souls to each other. No names, no contacts. In the morning, Flynn is called to the lobby and when he comes back, she’s gone. Olivia left thinking he ghosted her,

To their utter surprise, she finds out later that her best friend is engaged to his brother and they’ve already met in passing. Flynn sees the opportunity to pursue the woman who’s been haunting his thoughts since NY.

Olivia doesn’t stand a chance. Flynn is relentless, charming and also absolutely perfect with her little girl . But he’s only there temporarily. He’ll leave the baseball team for a “better one” at the first chance he gets. Should she embark on a relationship that can only end in heartache for her and for her kid?

I loved loved loved this audiobook! Narrated in duet by Samantha Summers and Christian Fox, it’s a delight from start to finish (I pressed play and never stopped!). Samantha’s voice is perfect for Olivia, the mama bear who is also a young woman falling in love. She’s also amazing as the other female characters and she is phenomenal as 6-year-old Greer! Christian uses all his signature swagger here to portray Flynn. The man has a “bedroom voice” that will scorch your earphones and make you, like Olivia and Greer, fall in love with Flynn.  He’s also amazing as all the other brothers and, especially, as Olivia’s grandfather.

A wonderful sports romance, with a dedicated single mom, a swoony slightly younger hero, an adorable little girl, supportive brothers, grandparents who are in love after more than five decades, little love notes, bookstore love, beautiful gestures to make a little girl feel seen, family finding their way back to each other and a wonderful HEA! And no third act nonsense!

Amazing listen!

Rep: Flynn’s brother is hard of hearing and many characters use ASL
