Thanks, Laura, for the advanced listen!

Clark is “the” hot shot player having scored the winning goal that got his team the Stanley Cup.  He is recovering from an injury and, since he has a state-of-the-art gym at home back in Rosewood River, that’s where he goes. The team, obviously invested in his full recovery, sends the newest hire, Eloise, to make sure he recovers.

Eloise is not happy to relocate to Rosewood River to rehabilitate some ‘diva hockey player’,  but she’s adamant, since she’s the coach’s daughter, not to be seen as a ‘nepobaby’, she reluctantly goes.

Clarke doesn’t know why she glaringly doesn’t like him. Eloise wasn’t expecting to enjoy the player’s company so much. Amidst training sessions, family dinners, and Taylor Tea gossip, they fall for each other, but the team’s strict non-fraternization policy can put her career as well as  Clark’s and her dad’s on the line.

This one is adorable! Eloise and Clark’s romance was sweet and spicy and brought a smile to my face while listening to it!

The audiobook is narrated in duet by Charlotte North and Teddy Hamilton.  Charlotte gives us a feisty, determined Eloise. She has a great voice and I want to hear more from her! Teddy turns the swoony, charming, flirty, full of swagger hockey player up to 11. He’s the perfect Clark! I also loved how they voiced all the other characters!

I loved this small town, secret lovers, forced proximity, ‘enemies’ to lovers, coach’s daughter romance! I particularly enjoyed all the family group texts. Also, it’s hilarious how their mom is obsessed with… Jelly Roll! Some beloved characters show up – including the adorable Beefcake – and it’s lovely to catch up!

I had so much fun and all the feels!
