When she’s assigned to find out who’s sabotaging the operations at the Daydream resort, she’s surprised to find the VP of operations is Rowan, a man who keeps popping in her life (especially her dates). 

Rowan can’t believe Josie is at his resort. And she’s behaving in a sketchy way – why is she always around when the bad things happen? And why is he still attracted to her? 

Picture this: White Lotus, Charlie’s Angels and The Starter Ex managed to have a baby and it’s Maneater. It’s a fun, hate-to-love, ‘workplace’ romance full of banter, tension and and spice. 

The audiobook is narrated dual style by Amy Hall and Christian Fox. Amy perfectly embodies the sassy, take-no-prisoners Josie who’s a little befuddled that Rowan is throwing her off her game. Christian’s melodious voice fits Rowan to a T – he’s broody, sexy, guarded,  but so charismatic in his ‘take charge personality’. 

It was fun spending time as the resort, seeing Rowan finally have a light bulb go off in his head as to why Josie dates all these men when she clearly doesn’t ‘date’ (you’ll get it). 

There is a little mystery, a lot of mischief, plenty of spice and a lovely HEA. I can’t wait for the next adventure the Mavens will go on!
