Phew! If you read When We Bloom, you came across Alex, Adam and Gabe briefly when the girls dared Alex to approach them (who are clearly a couple) and she ends up leaving the bar with the two men for the surprise of the girls. And that dare kickstarted an unexpected and all-consuming love story. 

In this novella (which packs a punch for such a short story), you find how they got together and how their relationship developed. It’s steamy AF while also incredibly tender and heartwarming. The way Adam and Gabe embrace Alex with all her demons and the way they worship her (and each other) is absolutely swoony. 

The audiobook is a treat in itself. We get the undeniably talented voices of Avery Caris, Sean Masters (Gabe) and Aiden Snow (Adam) narrating in dual style and therefore showcasing all their talent. They manage to convey all the love between the characters as well as their dedication to one another.

I love the Bkackwells of Montana and I am happy that Kirsten took this detour to tell their story.
