Walking in Darkness picks up immediately after where we were left of in Visions of Darkness, so you definitely need to listen to the first book to follow this story. 

Aria and Pax are finally together and soon they discover that things are way worse than they thought. However, they are now even more sure that Lavens and Nols are destined to be together and that it is also to key to their survival. Evil is coming for all of them. 

The audiobook is narrated dual style by Victoria Mei and Teddy Hamilton reprising their roles. Victoria’s expressive and melodious voice is perfect for the girl who unexpectedly finds herself to be the savior of all mankind. Teddy has a soothing voice that is completely in tune with a hero who’s deeply devoted to his Laven and who figures out that he is the source that can ignite her inner power. Both Victoria and Teddy create an undeniable chemistry in these ‘meant-to-be’ lovers who end up in a quest to save the world. 

The premise of this duet is unique and very intriguing! I love the ‘reluctant heroine’, the completely  devoted protector mate, the all powerful enemy and the feeling of found family you have in this story.

I am always happy to see what A.L. Jackson will come up with next!
