Welcome to Elysian Pines, where three hotter than sin Nephilim live and ‘work’ as the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. It’s no surprise when Greer Mallory, a bona fide Scrooge who seems to not care she is ruining Christmas for everyone around her, finds herself stranded there on the way to ruining yet another person’s holidays.
Remiel (Remi), Malachi, (Kai) and Samael (Sam) are used to their jobs. The town shows itself to the ‘Scrooge of the Week’ and they do their thing. But when Greer shows up there is a ‘disturbance in the Force’ , so to speak, that leaves them a little shaken and confused. They are incredibly drawn to her and Sam is adamant they don’t mix business with pleasure.
Greer is very annoyed that she’s staying in a town where Christmas threw up, at an inn that has no wifi to boot. How on earth can she work in these conditions? But when she witnesses a very hot moment happening with those three gorgeous guys, she can’t keep her eyes away and it is HOT. Everything gets complicated even more when Kai shows up in her dreams showing things from Christmases past…
This audiobook is narrated duet style by Samantha Brentmoor, Adam Gold, Sean Masters and Grayson Owens and it was a fun, spicy, and sometimes very tender, take on A Christmas Carol. Samantha is great as the grumpy ‘Ice Queen’ Greer who’s actually someone who’s just sure she’s not worthy of love. Adam is delightful as the playful Kai, giving him a cheeky and alluring personality. Sean is swoony as the dominant nephilim ‘Daddy’ with a British accent. Grayson embodies the more guarded Sam, who’s getting a bit despondent and afraid that his powers might be out of control.
It’s fun, very spicy and you’ll definitely feel you are on the naughty list! LOL
If you are looking for a new take on a holiday classic with a naughty twist, dive right in. Get the audiobook – you will thank me later. Oh, turn the fan on… just saying.
