We’re back in Rosewood River for one last time and I am not ok.

Archer needs a new nanny. Desperately. And Winnie has been highly recommended to him, but how can he trust someone who doesn’t even show up for the interview? And doesn’t even call?

Well, the reason for that is that Winnie’s thousand year old car died right outside of town, her cellphone has no service, it’s raining, she falls, gets her knee hurt. Oh hell, what else now? When she finally shows up, Archer decides to give her a ‘trial run’. It turns into a permanent position as soon as little Melody meets Winnie and they hit it off.  But Archer’s life, instead of becoming easier, is now one giant complication: he’s completely smitten by his daughter’s much younger nanny… and she’s equally attracted to him. 

I love visiting Rosewood River with the Pickle Ball league, the Taylor Tee, the Boozy Book Club. the shenanigans! 

This audiobook is narrated duet style by Savannah Peachwood and Sebastian York. Savannah’s voice is warm in soft and embodied Winnie to a T. She’s lovely as the romance author turned nanny. Sebastian is always a great choice for an older, warm hero. Archer is a protective dad, a swoony hero and more. These two together made us feel all the chemistry in this age gap, forbidden romance. 

Laura gave us all the small town goodness, with a dash of trips to Paris, meaningful hair bows, an adorable little girl, sexy text exchanges, Valentine’s Day birthdays, book tours, hilarious and embarrassing ‘bathroom emergencies’, blurted out love declarations, surprise romantic gestures and everything you want in a romance. 

We also finally learn who’s behind the Taylor Tea! And we get a wonderful glimpse into the future of one beloved character: Beefcake! 

I can’t wait to see what Laura has in store for us next!
