The Whiskey’s: Dark Knights at Redemption Ranch #5

ARC provided by author

Author: Melissa Foster

Thanks, Melissa, for the ARC.

Birdie Whiskey is a whirlwind, a force of nature, a burst of sunshine. She’s also a believer in true love. She’s seen it happen, many times – with her parents, her siblings… but never her. She also thinks thats’s because she is “too much”…

Then she literally runs into the perfect man while snowboarding. Her ‘viking’. He not only GETS her but he makes everything tingle in all sorts of ways. Soon they’re ‘hot tub bandits’ and spending glorious hours together. But in the morning, ‘Ragnar’ is gone…

Crew Hendricks is a little lost. Four years ago, his life took a turn  and he did something terrible and irrevocably changed the lives of the Whiskey family. He went to prison, did his time but he desperately wants to make amends. When he realizes that ‘Trouble’ is a Whiskey, he can’t put her through betraying her family by being with him.

But Redemption Ranch is magical and there’s nothing the Whiskeys believe more than the possibility of redemption. Ands they offer it to Crew. Well, not everyone. Dare, Billie’s brother wants nothing with the man who almost destroyed his life.

I have loved Birdie from the moment she fluttered around like a butterfly in the previous books and I knew Melissa would give her a deserving hero. She did, but most of all, she gave Birdie to Crew – someone desperately needed in his life. You can’t not fall in love with a tortured soul hero who’s obsessed with our favorite girl and who accepts her and cherishes her the way he does.

If you ever felt like you were ‘too much’, you’ll absolutely love their story! it’s a story of (fittingly) Redemption, acceptance and love.

What you get: a swoony meet cute, a badass heroine who is a ray of light, a tortured hero, a forbidden romance, the signature family moments we get in all Melissa’s books and an HEA to warm your heart!

Now, bring me Rebel!

Content notes (including but not limited to): mentions of drunk driving resulting in car accident with victims, death of a sibling, cheating (not MCs), toxic relationship with a parent, incarceration, depression, grief
