This one was a delightful surprise! I’m a die hard fan of vamps and it takes a bit to surprise me but I loved the premise of this new world! And the lightheartedness of the story! 

The audiobook is narrated duet style by Chloe Ryan and Sean Masters and it was a delight to listen to! Chloe’ sweet and melodious voice was perfect for the brand new professor and vampire’s mate. Sean’s deep and booming voice fits Volik’s larger than life persona and also his surprisingly tender devotion to Nix. There are also other POV’s inserted all over and each one has unique voices and performances. Amazing audio experience! 

What you get: a new perspective on paranormal beings, a swoony and horny (literally and figuratively) vampire, a virgin heroine, a small college town, magical portals, druids, lost family members, found family, a curvy heroine, size difference (Volik, as the students say, ‘Hulks out’), a villain seeking revenge and a sweet but action-packed HEA.
