The LeBlanc Brothers #5

ALC provided by Must Love Audio

Thanks, Layla and @mustloveaudio for the ALC.

Oh swoony billionaires! Anthony LeBlanc is in a pickle. He needs an assistant pronto. However, for “reasons”, he’s developed a reputation and no one wants to work for him and there is a revolving door of assistants in his office. All his assistants are sure he hates them. So, the HR department calls in the big guns – a recruiter.

Daisy is in even a bigger pickle. She relocated to New Orleans for her new job, but before the contracts are signed, the firm goes on a ‘hire freeze’ and she finds herself jobless. There are no jobs available at the moment suited for her, but her situation can become dire very soon. So, even though she’s overqualified, she takes the job as assistant to Anthony LeBlanc. Who knows? This may be a foot in the door to work for the family’s empire in a more suitable position.

First day, she hyped and goes get a coffee before work. A handsome, charming man chats her up. Delightful flirting. The day is starting well. Until her new boss opens the door to the office and …oh crap. It’s the charming man from the coffee shop. She just flirted with her boss…

Narrated dual style by Megan Wicks and Robert Hatchet, this is everything I wanted. Megan is great as always as the dedicated and driven Daisy who can’t seem to catch a break. Robert is perfect as the easy going, favorite uncle, charming billionaire.

We have meddling grandmas (who seem to have some ‘magical’ powers that they use in bespoke perfumes), fishing loving grandpas, sweet nieces, supporting parents, a taste of New Orleans with a a splash of North Dakota.

Though #5 in a series, you have no problem following along. And I can’t wait to find out what happens to the next brother in the series!

Content notes: mentions of a farming accident
