We are back at Moonlit Ridge with Theo now. He’s determined to honor the pledge he made when they started Sovereign Sanctum – to never get involved and dedicate his whole life to their cause. This audiobook is narrated dual style by Kit Swann and Teddy Hamilton. Kit’s performance is so  emotional that you can’t not feel the desperation and despondency Piper endures because of her situation. Teddy brings an unexpected tenderness to the big brute who has done unspeakable  things but lives his life to atone for  them. 

As in all Amy’s books, we are kept at the edge off our seats. We have the mama bear, the morally (darker than) gray hero, the adorable little kid, new beginnings, brotherhood, making new besties, lots of steam and a heartwarming HEA. In the words of Finn, “I got a happy heart!”

I can’t wait to go back to Moonlit Ridge.
