When Tess Covington, contractor extraordinaire and Tik Tok sensation, lands in an ER in Colorado on her way to her new job, she doesn’t expect  her life to turn upside down. The doctor there gives her some crazy news: she’s not sick. She’s a late-presenting omega wolf shifter.  Huh? She has no time for this. Hunter Barrett doesn’t want to renovate anything in the lodge for reasons. The alpha shifter didn’t hire the renovation crew, his aunt did. Plus, the last thing this alpha needs is an omega in his lodge. He’s had his heart broken by one and he’s determined to avoid Tess at all costs. If only she didn’t smell so heavenly…

But when Tess confesses to Hunter that she’s just literally found out about her ‘non-human’ status and that she’s at loss about what is actually happening to her, he offers to help her. 

The more time they spend together, the more they feel they belong to each other. Is it real feelings or is it just ‘biology’ working? And his life is in the mountains and she’s about to get a TV show. Is the universe playing a cruel joke on them?

This one was spicy and kind of adorable. Hunter is skittish since he had his heart trampled on by an omega, but he just can’t stay away from Tess. Tess is cute and fun and you can’t not feel for her and her new found situation. After all, life took an unexpected turn and the poor girl is also flying blind in all this. 

I loved the ‘lessons’, the chemistry between them is crazy and they are adorable together. 

If you love a spicy rom com with a ‘newborn’ shifter, with snowed in moments and HGTV renovations and also grand gestures that come from the heart, don’t pass this one up.
