When Aston and Skylar share a kiss during a blackout at a party on Valentine’s Day, they find out when the lights go back on, that he just kissed his best friend’s little sister. He fumbles and we have the classic ‘it was a mistake’ and that gets Skylar really riled up. 

Fast forward to two years later and Aston is in back in Boston and suddenly moving into Skylar’s brother’s house where she had been living after leaving her abusive ex. He comes with an adorable five year old who has just gone through the tremendous loss of her mom and the rejection of her stepfather. 

Skylar can’t believe she’s going to be homeless (she can’t evict a single dad with a little kid)… And things get really complicated when she finds out she’s about to have a baby of her own. When Aston literally proposes, it might be solution to all their problems… or they are courting with disaster. 

Narrated in duet by JF Harding and CJ Bloom, who are perfectly cast. Aston is the epitome of a cocky, arrogant doctor who’s actually a green flag hero. The swoon is there, believe me. JF plays him to perfection. CJ is also the embodiment of the sassy but vulnerable Skylar and she’s adorable as Zoey. 

You have the Boston Fritzes and the Hughes. We’re back in a hospital with a workplace romance between a surgeon and a nurse, both from Pediatrics. We have an abusive ex who also works at the hospital, a marriage of convenience, He Falls First, plenty of ‘my wife’ moments, tons of banter, a swoony ‘not his baby’ situation, some very steamy times and the cutest little found family.
