Lizzie Bonnivarde is in a pickle. Her boyfriend is cheating on her, she’s being evicted, she’s been fired and now she has to go meet her estranged sisters because their mother (who abandoned them) died. Well, at least there is an inheritance…

What she doesn’t know is that the inheritance is a sentient house, magical powers, a lost Grimoire and a portal to protect. And this portal comes with a ‘peculiar familiar’ and a professorial demon to teach her in the magical ways.

As Lizzy triers to embrace her witchy side, her sisters still treat her like the “slacker stoner” and she can’t fight the feelings surfacing for a a very charming demon. 

The audiobook is performed in duet by Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East and you can tell in their performers that they had a hell of good time reading this. You can actually feel the fun. Samantha plays Lizzy as  young, sassy, and very much the slacker stoner who wants a new purpose. Shane is delightful as the uptight bespectacled demon who has ulterior motives but gets betrayed by his own feelings for ‘Miss Bonnivarde’.

What you get: a paranormal rom com filled with witchy and demonic shenanigans, family drama, witch hunters, a very different familiar, bonding with sisters, an ex from hell, ‘he falls first’, love declarations, supportive fellow demons, truths revealed and a fun HEA. 
I can’t wait for more of the witches and the demons!
