Craig likes to spend the off season in the town where he basically grew up with his billet family. When an unexpected photoshoot is required of him, he is in a pickle. Hockey players’ shoulders and butts don’t fit ‘off the rack’ suits, no matter what designer makes them. 

That’s when Bridget enters the chat. The talented tailor/seamstress (and daughter of Craig’s biggest fan) is recruited to make alterations for the big goalie. When a measuring session leads to a ‘Netflix and chill’ (yeah, THAT one), it starts a four year situationship that neither of them wants to admit is more serious. Until Craig gets his bell rung in wacky accident and gets concussed. ‘Stitch’ is again recruited to take care of him and they have to face their feelings. 

This short novella is a quintessential Kayley book: sweet, swoony and steamy.  

I loved how they met, their situationship is cute and I LOOOOOOOVED loopy Craig!

As an audiobook girlie, I went and got the audiobook from Kayley’s website. It is narrated dual style by Emma Wilder and Teddy Hamilton, voices that are very familiar in the Kayleyverse. Emma is her amazing self as always and Teddy is adorable as the goalie with a million rituals that include chatting (about his girl) to the goal posts. And loopy Teddy is adorable master plus extra! 

What you get: a passionate seamstress, a goalie with the perfect bubble butt, a hilarious dad, summer romance, dangerous injuries that lead to spaced out confessions and a cute HEA. Fun!!!!
