Thanks, @authorberlinwick and @mustloveaudio for the gifted ALC.

Jace Wilder, America’s heartthrob, and Lennox Rome, British Bad Boy, have just been cast as the leads in the anticipated biopic of iconic music duo Iron Horizon. Well, what’s causing frisson in the press is that the All American good boy and former child star will be playing opposite the guy who stole the Best Actor award from him the previous year as… LOVERS. As expected, the tabloids are having a field day.

The pair couldn’t be more mismatched personality wise, but the two Method actors really get into their roles when they are sent to a secluded cabin to ‘get to know each other’ or else. Well, we all know where this is going with the one bed and everything… and it’s fun!

Narrated duet style by Shane East and Devon Ryder,  featuring Emery Erickson and James Cassidy, this is a sweet and steamy one! We all know that Shane East can rock a British Bad Boy but I have to say that I was absolutely besotted by (new to me) Devon Ryder! I’m hard to be full on ‘this is a new favorite!’ right at a first listen but I’m all in. I loved his performance as the shy, confused and adorable Jace who’s going through some stuff with his family besides figuring out that Lennox is making him feel ALL THE THINGS. I’ll definitely look around for more of his performances. We get James and Emery playing all the secondary roles and they deliver!

What you get: rivals to lovers, bi-awakening, lots of yearning and lots of steam, celebrity gossip, an overbearing and manipulative parent, teenage crush coming to be real love, unexpected allies and a cute HEA.

This was my first Berlin Wick but will definitely not be my last.

Representation: queer romance (MM)

Content notes (including but not limited to): mentions of living ion foster care, addiction. Jace is dealing with a very toxic parental relationship that includes a conservatorship. Homophobic comments.
