The audiobook is narrated in duet by two of my favorites: Vanessa Edwin and Aiden Snow. Vanessa’s performance is a delight! A slight Texan drawl, a lot of sass and you want to be her friend. Aiden is perfect as the sort of grumpy, set in his ways single dad who’s devoted to his kid and the family legacy. The two together? Fire. 

What you get: small town cowboy/city girl romance, an adorable six-year-old prone to ‘accidents’, lots of Lego building, hats and chaps, mechanical bull fun, handcuffs, thigh biting, no kissing rule, fun in the barn, family bonding, and finding your way back to happiness. 

I loved reconnecting with the folks from the Lucky River Ranch! 

I can’t wait to go back to the Double U Ranch!
