If you come to this book from Pucked, Tilton or The Terror, you might be confused. This is a different Helena, but an equally amazing one. This book is dark and angsty, Both Birdie and Jarrod have been through tough times, and you will be sucked by this second chance, ‘it’s always been you’, ‘I’ll burn the world for you’ romance. The banter, the romance and the spice are all quintessential Helena. 

The audiobook is narrated in dual style by CJ Bloom and Alex Knox and they delivered. CJ is a favorite and her warm, soft voice was perfect to show us a broken but not defeated Birdie. Alex is still a little new to me but he did a great job showing us a possessive, obsessed and dark hero. 

What you get: an unexpected second chance  workplace romance with the only love of your life, a strong heroine, a secretly obsessed hero, hummingbirds, 8n years of memories saved, loyal friends, office bathroom escapades, a couple of unexpected villains, a heartwarming reveal with a surprise that will make you gasp.
