The Vessel Trilogy Book #3

Author: Juliette Cross

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you, Juliette Cross for providing a copy.

In the third and last installment of The Vessel Trilogy, Genevieve must literally go into the bowels of hell to retrieve the most precious thing in her life. She’s getting stronger and stronger, but she may not be able to save her precious treasure.

While all of this is happening, the prophecy seems to be taking them towards a showdown on the Blood Moon.

When confronted with Prince Bamal’s secret weapon after being betrayed by Thomas, will Genevieve have the strength to do what is right and resist the pull of Darkness? Will she ignore the Fate of the entire universe so as to not have her heart broken into a million pieces?

This is a fast-paced story, leading to the grand finale: the battle between Darkness and Light. I really enjoyed the development of the story, but I must confess that Thomas’ betrayal (and real identity) were a little obvious to me. Also, the other person who betrayed Genevieve was on my radar since book 1, not to mention who she was really going to face at the big battle. However, none of this has taken away from story! It’s well-written and you want to keep reading to find out what’s going to happen anyway. (Kinda like when we all knew who Jon Snow’s parents were in Game of Thrones, you know? ) This is not a flaw in the writing. There were clues everywhere, and I paid attention to them! LOL

I loved the addition of the two epilogues and it was great to see how these characters were faring after the world basically coming to an end.

This is Juliette’s first work and she developed her writing skills even more but you can see she had an amazing starting point to begin with.

I had great fun reading this trilogy and highly recommend for fans of fantasy and romance.

This is a re-release with new covers, added content and updated material.
