When Keaton’s girlfriend Annika asks for a threesome for her birthday, he is, shall we say, “intrigued” …especially because she wants to share their bed with another guy. Keaton joins the Kink app as “LobsterShorts” to see if he can find someone he would be okay with and would be safe for Annika. He starts talking to “SinnerThree”, who immediately starts asking questions that get Keaton thinking what exactly he’s expecting from this and how he’s feeling about the whole situation.

What Keaton doesn’t know (and neither does SinnerThree) is that they are NOT strangers. SinnerThree is Luke Bailey, who lives in the tiny bedroom across from Keaton’s at his fraternity and they don’t exactly get along. Luke is “the scholarship townie”, who lives at the fraternity to escape his leech of a mother and his ex-con brother. He also has another secret – to make ends meet, he works as a bartender and as an “exotic dancer” at a club.

After weeks of texting and baring their souls, “the day” finally comes and … surprise!!!

I really enjoyed this book but I confess I had to keep telling myself not to expect the magic that was “Him” (and its sequels – penned by the same duo) or I’d be disappointed as it is one of my all time favorite books. With that in mind, I managed to enjoy Luke and Keaton finding their way to each other. I know some people don’t like the book because they think that Keaton is cheating on Annika, as he definitely gets attached to SinnerThree while they are exchanging messages on the app. I get it and I felt a little like that in the beginning and I would have liked it a lot more if Keaton had ended things with Annika, but I also understand that the way the plot was developed is what makes the romance work. I loved Keaton and was rooting for poor Luke to open up his heart and let himself be truly loved.

Sweet, spicy and fun.

Narration: OMG, I don’t listen to many books narrated by Christian Fox and I had forgotten how I absolutely LOVE his voice and how he narrates! Perfect Keaton! Teddy Hamilton brings Luke to life and is amazing as usual.
