I love Kate Canterbary books and I knew I was going to have fun with this one. I read this out of order so I had seen a bit of these two already in The Wrong Guy and I knew I was going to love to know how they got together. I really appreciate that we have older MCs in this series and, as always, we get to see characters from other books. Cal is adorable as a 40-something badasss doctor who’s turned into an incoherent boy when in the presence of Stella. I love how Stella is her own woman and doesn’t take crap from anyone and it’s a fun ride following them to their HEA. Fun book!
Narration: Virginia Rose knocks it out of the park as Stella and Jason Clarke does all those things that make our hearts go pitter-patter. However, I need to add something: y’all know I LOVE Jason Clarke, but let’s just say that, when it comes to Spanish words, he’s the sexiest gringo north of the border. 😉
