This was a wild ride! It’s non-stop action from start to finish and sometimes you get a little overwhelmed with all the stuff going on. You don’t get a second to breathe – it’s like a Bond movie!  It’s a fun ride all the way through but I just wish things were more shown than told. I understand that, with all that happens at such rapid fire pace, this is the way to keep the pace but I wish I had seen a few things happens rather than being told. 

It’s a fantastic debut novel and it really got me interested in knowing what happens with the other friends and to know more about the WaterFyre Rising game in the series. The romance is good and you have a “it’s always been you/touch her and I will unalive” you hero that is swoony. A little gray but very swoony. 😉
