Author: Katherine Center

This story begins with Anna Brooks losing her mom and being dumped by her boyfriend (and colleague). To add insult to injury, her boss benches her. When a low-stakes, low-danger, low-risk job protecting a recluse movie star appears, her boss puts her as primary…or else. Did I mention that Hannah, who looks like a kindergarten teacher, is an “Executive Protection Agent”, aka bodyguard?

Apparently, the Fates are against her in every way, because she soon finds out that she’ll have to pose as the girlfriend of said hunky and totally adorable movie star. Oh hell…

This one was a lot of fun. I particularly loved how this story is told: exclusively through Hannah’s POV, it has a touch of what we got in the TV show “Fleabag”. Hannah is constantly address us, the reader, which completely pulls you into the story.

I love Hannah and Jack Stapleton is swoony and top tier book boyfriend!

Note: Doors are closed and shut tight in this one, my friends.
