We are back in the Dirty universe and this time we dive inside the mind of The Donovan Kincaid and what an incredibly fascinating place it is! We had already had a good glimpse of who he is but I am so glad this book switched to his POV.
Donovan adores Sabrina in his obsessive manner and it’s interesting to see that his perspective is that he is actually very self-sacrificing in his controlling ways. We go back and forth to when he first met Sabrina to the present. The story takes some unexpected turns and, for the first time ever in their relationship, Sabrina pushes back and you can’t fault her reasoning. She has agreed to their terms completely, but things have now changed.
Donovan now has to finally figure out who he really is and that makes him deal with all the heavy emotional baggage he has been carrying in order to save his future.
I was also pleasantly surprised with some really funny moments in this one. We also catch up with a lot of characters from the Dirty universe, which is definitely a bonus.
LOVED IT. (I advise you to read the previous books to fully enjoy this one.)
Narration: It’s freaking Jacob Morgan, y’all. Broody, sexy, alpha, arrogant, swoony and, at some points, even hilarious Jacob Morgan. Sold? No? He SINGS in this one… There you go.
