I have the warm and fuzzies! Sloane and Jasper are just meant to be and so perfect for each other. They’ve always been the other’s “person” and it had to take one monumental kick in their behinds to put them together and it was a wonderful ride.
And oh my Lawd, Jasper, you dirty dirty devil…
I confess I was worried going in because Heartless was one of my very few 6-star books and expectations had to be high. I knew I was going to read a well-written book, and, yay, this is exactly whatI was hoping for! Ms. Silver did it again!
Oh, and “tail babies”! LOL
Narrated by CJ Bloom, who’s perfect as Sloane (I particularly loved her when Sloane goes “off the rails”!), and Teddy Hamilton, who can do vulnerable and dirty to perfection.
Kudos to the production team at @lyricaudiobooks for the use of a subtle but very effective sound effect for the flash-back scenes. Game changer!
